Sylvester the Cheeky Octopus is on his way!
Only a week to go before my new picture book, One Cheeky Octopus, splashes out into the world!
Down in the depths of the deep, dark ocean, a creature lurks… It's SYLVESTER, the cleverest and sneakiest and beakiest of them all! But when Sylvester sees his friends having fun, he decides to have some of his own. Using his long tentacles, Sylvester GRABS and NABS all the games and toys! Oh no! Will this cheeky octopus ever learn to share?
I'm delighted to see Sylvester nearly out there in the world, especially because I got to work with genius illustrated ALEX WILLMORE again! If you loved his brilliant, madcap artwork in the award-winning One Hungry Dragon, then you are going to flip out! ("flip out", see? Like "flipper"? Because it's underwater? Heh heh).
