Join the Read It Forward campaign!
Congratulations to everyone for making it to the end of a dark, drizzly, and rather stormy January. To brighten things up, the wonderful folks at Bookshop.org are running a fundraising campaign with BookTrust and Scottish Book Trust throughout February – Read It Forward.
It's easy to join in – just buy a book from Bookshop.org during February, and they'll donate 10% of the sale to the BookTrust and Scottish Book Trust charities. I can tell you from personal experience that Scottish Book Trust do an incredible job of encouraging a love of reading, connecting authors with young readers, and generally making the world a better and more booky place.
And Bookshop.org also helps your local indie bookshop! Every sale contributes towards independent bookshops around the country.
