Absolutely delighted to say that Inch and Grub, my very silly tale of squabbling cavemen illustrated by the fabulous David Roberts, has been shortlisted for the Societ of Authors Queen's Knickers Award!
This annual prize is awarded to "an outstanding children's original illustrated book for ages 0-7. It will recognise books that strike a quirky, new note and grab the attention of a child, whether this be in the form of curiosity, amusement, horror or excitement."
It's wonderful news – fingers crossed!
