Book Week Scotland!
This year I had brilliant fun during Book Week Scotland, reading The Prince and the Witch and the Thief and the Bears to children across Scotland. I was at Galashiels, Peebles, Giffnock, Barrhead, Dalmuir, Dumbarton and Auchenblae – phew!
We had some great sessions with the kids, designing new book covers and creating whole new stories – including my favourite, Aliens Stole Our Toilets, a terrifying tale of toilet tomfoolery! Well done to all the new storytellers and illustrators of the future!
I also got to hand out the P1 Bookbug Bag to lots of children, and it was amazing to see my book included with the others, and how pleased the children were to receive their bags. Thanks for letting me be a part of it!
